Moorview Lodge offers elegant accommodation for up to six guests across three en-suite bedrooms, including a ground-floor room with an accessible shower room. One dog is welcome (pet fee applies).
The flexible ground-floor bedroom can be set as one or two singles and features an adapted shower room; additional aids are available on request. The open-plan living space is spacious and inviting, with sofas and chairs around an open fire. An extendable dining table seats up to sixteen for special occasions. Comfort is assured with underfloor heating, double glazing and a pressurised water system for strong showers. The fully equipped kitchen is supported by a separate utility with washer/dryer, sink, ceiling airer and extra glassware and crockery. Wide doors open to a private, south-facing terrace garden with drystone Cotswold walls and flagstones, and views to distant hills.
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a super-king brass bed, seating area and a large en-suite with bath, shower, vanity and toilet. The second upstairs bedroom has elegant brass twins that can zip-link to a super-king on request, plus seating, a dressing table and its own en-suite with bath, shower, vanity and toilet.
Parking for two cars is directly in front of the property, with space for a third at Kingham Lodge. Guests also have access to shared facilities at Kingham Lodge (about 100 yards away): a pool, traditional Turkish hammam and 5 acres of landscaped gardens.
Family-friendly amenities include a travel cot, highchair and stair gate; a larger cot or newborn cradle can be arranged for a £20 supplement. For larger gatherings, the owners have five cottages on site sleeping up to 26; enquire about booking multiple cottages for family celebrations.
Pool access operates on a private “swim time” rota for each cottage so every group enjoys dedicated family sessions; times vary daily and are confirmed in your booking email. There’s also an early morning open swim, and the pool is used by the owners after 4:30 pm. Pool towels are provided, and you’ll receive a brief safety orientation on arrival.
