Set within Woodhouse Farm, the cottage enjoys easy access to the estate’s indoor swimming pool, sauna, games room, and outdoor playground, making it a popular choice for larger families and gatherings of friends.
The ground floor offers generous open plan living, with kitchen /living area leading into a dining room, perfect for socialising and shared meals. The living room is furnished with deep leather sofas around a 43” Smart TV, along with a Bluetooth speaker and a welcoming log-burning stove (logs provided). The kitchen is well equipped with a range cooker, microwave, and dishwasher, while the adjoining dining area features an American-style fridge-freezer, washing machine, and an additional 32” TV, ideal for relaxed group dining. Upstairs, seven well-proportioned bedrooms provide flexible accommodation for up to fifteen guests. At the rear of the cottage, a lawn garden provides space to relax outdoors with a charcoal BBQ and decked areas, while a large, paved patio at the front offers additional room for gathering and dining at the outside tables in the warmer months. The home is fitted with thermostatically controlled electric heating, ensuring comfort throughout the year.
For convenience, a payphone is located in the foyer of the indoor swimming pool building. Shared Parking is also available on site, with electric vehicle charging also at this site. The indoor swimming pool complex is at this site, each property has scheduled private access on a rota provided by the owners prior to arrival.
Sleeping from 6 to 28 guests, the cottages can be combined to accommodate almost any group size. For an extra touch, you can even book an in-house chef to handle your catering.

Just under a mile down the lane lies the Ashcombe Shooting Ground, offering clay pigeon shooting, quad bike safaris, and archery (available at extra cost for ages 14+). Both Dartmoor National Park and the historic city of Exeter are just a 20-minute drive away, while the South Devon Coast and its sandy beaches are only 3 miles. Nearby, you’ll find Exeter and Newton Abbot Racecourses, golf courses, family theme parks, zoos, sailing, and fishing, as well as Devon’s famous pubs and restaurants. Walk the wild beauty of Dartmoor, visit nearby National Trust properties (including Agatha Christie’s Greenway), or enjoy a steam train journey from Kingswear to Paignton or Totnes to Buckfastleigh. Explore historic Dartmouth with its harbour, castle, galleries, and the spectacular Regatta Week and Air Show. Salcombe, Blackpool Sands, Slapton, and Dittisham are all within easy reach, while East Cornwall and the Eden Project are less than an hour’s drive away. Adventurers can also try Rock Solid Coasteering along the Jurassic Coastline.
